Position

OverviewResponsible for the strategy, development, growth and maintenance of various company product lines.

Responsibilities

  • Helps the organization understand customers' product needs and desires by using research and analytics to inform product management decisions.
  • Assists in developing product sales, marketing and retention strategies to meet company objectives for product line.
  • Manages operational requirements by working with operational stakeholders to design and execute the best delivery system to deliver product to customers.
  • Acts as the “voice of the customer” in all discussion to further the wants and needs of the product line’s customers.
  • Analyzes and evaluates product performance metrics to form recommendations regarding market opportunities and product enhancements.
  • Works with internal and external business partners to plan, design, implement and satisfy project requirements.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-6 years of work experience, or an adequate combination of both
  • 4+ years direct product management experience or 5+ years relevant industry experience in Marketing, Sales, Underwriting, Industrial Engineering, or Operations.
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • MBA preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including delivering effective presentations
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Attention to detail and quantitative analytical skills
  • Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)
