Position Overview

Product Owner at TruGreen is responsible for developing the innovation, development, and optimization of TruGreen’ s product and services in alignment with the strategies and vision of the Organization. This position will collaborate with and drive results by partnering with executive leadership throughout the organization to determine near and long-term growth strategies. 


  • Create consumer product strategy and translate into an actionable, detailed product roadmap that accounts for new products, services, features and positioning opportunities
  • Execute roadmap prioritization through business cases that incorporate analysis of market research and relevant internal data points to project product demand, positioning, viability, and profitability
  • Achieve sales growth targets by working with Business Leaders and key stakeholders to create product level strategies
  • Prepare short-term and long-term product sales forecasts, analyses, and reports geared to create actionable insights to drive increased performance
  • Estimates business impact of strategic initiatives and prepares reports and recommendations for executive leadership teams
  • Recommend the scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and product innovation
  • Collaborates with executive management team to align departmental strategy or direction with the overall goals of the organization
  • Bring new products and product improvements to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs by preparing return-on-investment analyses and establishing clear expectations with business leaders
  • Partner with Operations leaders and Finance partners to determine product pricing strategy by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, and anticipating volume
  • Determine and anticipate customers' needs and desires through customer feedback, market research, and competitor analyses

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 15 or more years of experience in product management or project management in complex/matrix environments, or an equivalent combination. Master’s Degree preferred
  • 10 years of supervisory/management experience required
