Job Description

The Product Management Analyst will be responsible for executing product analysis, maintaining product line reporting and supporting product development initiatives.  This role will require the essential understanding of company-wide business processes and ensuring team is organized and prepared for all process, reporting, budgetary, and business planning requests.

  • Collect, compile, verify, and analyze data on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities to support business initiatives.
  • Develop knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers
  • Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and decision makers to develop success criteria and optimize existing products for a better customer experience
  • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate product performance and customer feedback to generate new product ideas, identify product/service features that need to be changed to meet customer needs.
  • Help define and analyze performance metrics and goals for internal use
  • Plan, design, and execute market research studies; analyze the results; and write reports and recommendations so that leadership can evaluate alternatives against the organization's business objectives, industry activity and competitor performance.
  • Develop financial models, valuation scenarios and business cases for strategic initiatives and potential new business opportunities
  • Develop, configure, maintain, and enhance strategic reports and dashboards as it pertains to key transformational initiatives
  • Partner with the senior Sales, Marketing, Finance, & Operations leadership teams in order to translate data analysis into business insights and intelligence that lead to commercial decisions

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of analysis experience in product management, strategic planning, or management consulting experience required; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • CPG and Product Management experience preferred
