Position Overview

The Process & Quality Engineer plans, executes, and leads the Quality function for Sales and Process, Product, Service and Corporate functions to improve the Customer Experience and streamline processes both internal and external. Leads, participates in, reviews and analyzes improvement initiatives leveraging lean, six sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies to attain business objectives. Provides recommendations to leadership based on data-driven analysis. Identifies leading indicators to access customer experience and measures to address identified issues.


1. Establish metrics, create scorecard and develop based on established metrics. 2. Use operational data to address performance issues and remediation plans. Regularly review, monitor, and lead improvement efforts to support a streamlined customer experience

3. Travels to work locations to conduct audits of operational methods and processes, providing recommendations and business process and continuous improvement training

4. Review and evaluate operational and internal processes, working with subject matter experts and leaders to identify improvement opportunities

5. Design, develop, and implement production methods and measurement systems with the goal of measuring, optimizing, and improving quality and productivity

6. Establish a Continuous Improvement roadmap that provides prioritization to actions to achieve strategic goals

7. Develop and maintain operational excellence and Quality KPI’s and countermeasures

8. Identify and measure failure points in the sales process and coordinate actions and resources to address identified opportunities

9. Tracks customer experience scorecard and addresses identified opportunities. Identify the most efficient use of staff across the organization to improve the customer experience

10. Collaborate with technical leaders to define regional specific best practices including but not limited to: chemicals, process, application parameters and frequency

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related technical or quantitative degree (e.g., mathematics) with 3 - 5 years of experience analyzing processes, defining methods, developing and applying measurement tools to manage and optimize operational performance are required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Master’s degree in management, engineering or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience in routing, scheduling and logistics strongly preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent preferred
