Position Overview

Supports marketing and product management operations from a financial standpoint.  Responsible for ensuring Chief Growth Officer’s planning (budgeting and forecasting) is completed on time throughout the year with all involved parties aligned to the assumptions, inputs, and outputs. Analyzes and reports on all marketing KPI’s from a financial standpoint, including spend, cost per lead, and conversion by channel, and uses the data to support the CGO and CFO decision making process.

Responsibilities

1. Provides financial analysis for prospective and current investments, comparing cost per lead and cost per sale to customer value

2. Develops and aligns KPI tracking for marketing operations. Provides readouts to senior leaders multiple times weekly

3. Uses KPIs to track investment results to ensure working as expected. Reports results. Identifies and reports opportunities and issues immediately to senior leadership to take action

4. Provides oversight and audit function for entire marketing P&L, including working, non- working and R&D spend, and works to implement best in class invoice auditing and governance process

5. Leads marketing and product team through budget and forecasting processes 6. Runs month end close analysis for marketing and product teams

7. Supports pricing initiatives lead by the product team, including planning, execution, and results tracking

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, or STEM; Master’s preferred
  • 7-10 years of experience in an analytical, financial, and/or strategy role or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Expertise in data analytics and insight creation
  • Proficient with SSMS, JDE, Power BI
  • Expertise with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Expertise of financial and accounting practices
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Ability to lead and manage teams cross-functionally
  • Project and change management skills
  • Strategic problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
