Position Overview
Call center-based automotive repair specialist responsible for analyzing vehicle maintenance and repair requests from external providers, advise field operations on most cost effective service and authorize work. Facilitates payment for requested service with purchase order and virtual card issuance, records vehicle maintenance history in electronic enterprise asset management database. Administers and negotiates vehicle warranty claims across the enterprise. 

Responsibilities


1. Answers inbound inquiries from internal and external customers via phone, fax, and electronically.
2. Creates and accurately enters maintenance work orders in the Fleet Maintenance system.
3. Analyzes data and information to assist in repair decision making.
4. Authorizes payment to suppliers, including billing reconciliations.
5. Makes outbound calls to answer customer inquiries as needed.
6. Responsible for following established maintenance policies, procedures and processes.

Education and Experience Requirements


• Bachelor's degree preferred; 1-3 years experience with fleet, maintenance, dealerships or service centers
• 1-3 years experience in a customer service position

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


• Knowledge of maintenance policies, procedures, and processes
• Ability to gather data and information to problem solve
• Ability to make sound business decisions by utilizing data and information
• Ability to handle and resolve customer concerns
