Position Overview

Delivers strategic, automated solutions for the company’s financial business intelligence. Develops processes to ensure the quality, timeliness, ease of access and standardization of financial systems, reports and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Implements, develops and maintains the financial budgeting system and processes used across the business.
  • Assists in the development, communication, and execution of goals to meet stakeholders’ needs in regards to the accessibility, reliability and timeliness of historical and forecasted financial data.
  • Assists with financial inputs and structure for the enterprise data hub, including developing processes and procedures to ensure all financial data is captured accurately and timely.
  • Coordinates the efforts between the Finance and IT departments to deliver solutions that provide all levels of management with appropriate financial data.
  • Works with operations management to develop new tools and processes to provide the financial insight necessary to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Manages the Financial Business Intelligence and Reporting group to execute business plans and develop processes designed to achieve the company’s financial business intelligence goals.
  • Oversees daily, weekly and monthly reporting of financial and operational metrics with company-wide visibility and reliance.
  • Automates and streamlines reporting activities across the Financial Planning and Analysis function to improve both efficiency and effectiveness of financial reports and drives the future reporting landscape of the Finance function.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field required. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 4-6 years’ experience with financial data tools and processes, including involvement in the design of financial data structures.
  • 2+ years of supervisory/management experience preferred
  • Experience with Anaplan, JDEdwards, and Tableau preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of data warehousing operations and strategies
  • Knowledge of business intelligence software and tools (e.g., Tableau, Anaplan, Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Verbal and written communication skills, including developing and delivering formal presentations
  • Organizational, project and process management and leadership skills
  • Business process and financial analysis skills
  • Attention to detail and quantitative analytical skills
  • Ability to foster collaboration
  • Advanced planning and project management skills
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
