Position Overview

This role is responsible for the development, delivery and management of Organizational Development (OD) programs and procedures including but not limited to: Competency Modeling, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Management Coaching and Interventions, Assessment Development and Analysis. Works with internal clients across management levels to better assess the quantity and quality of talent needed to meet business needs as well as the caliber and potential for growth within associates.

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple full cycle projects/programs from development through evaluation that drive organizational performance and  effectiveness
  • Works with internal clients to assess coaching and interventional needs as well as plans, implements, and evaluates development outcomes
  • Provides feedback and coaching based on validated assessments
  • Analyzes, summarizes, and presents data from surveys, assessments, and other empirical tools
  • Supports and implements various leadership development programs
  • Supports the annual talent, succession, and performance review processes
  • Collaborates with internal and external business partners and vendors

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Psychology, Business or a related field required and 1-2 years of internal or external organizational development experience required
  • Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development or related field preferred
  • Experience working as an internal or external consultant in one or two of the following areas: change management, organizational culture, employee engagement, organizational design, talent management and/or coaching

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of organizational development theories, principles and practices, including leadership development, change management and talent assessments
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory
  • Skill and ability to facilitate and conduct instructor-led and/or virtual training
  • Ability to organize, manage and lead multiple projects
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills including presentation and group facilitation skills
  • Executive presence, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
