Position Overview

Works with business users and IT to support user applications. Supports business KPI metrics by providing support of application governance processes. Defines and measures test cases and monitors implementation to achieve business objectives. Develops test cases and scenarios and recommendations to developers to facilitate issues resolution, product enhancements. 

Responsibilities

  • Collects user business requirements for proposed system enhancements for various projects. Ensures requirements meet acceptance standards
  • Develops test cases based on user acceptance criteria and functional requirements.
  • Provides data to enable business decisions
  • Provides user support and coordinates resolution of issues and escalates as appropriate
  • Handles maintenance processes, and projects related to integrated data systems and package software.
  • Develops user acceptance criteria, coordinates end user training, prepares job aids to assist with product enhancement implementation
  • Contributes to the development of project timelines through definition and documentation of user requirements
  • Adheres to standard format, content and style guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
  • Analyzes data based on application use cases, makes recommendations, and provides data to enable business decisions

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of business analyst experience in a quantitative role, or an equivalent combination of experience and education required
  • A/S 400 knowledge and experience helpful but can be trained

  • Knowledge of quality assurance and testing methods and practices
  • Knowledge of relational database file structures
  • Knowledge of application development life cycle
  • Verbal and written communications skills to convey technical information to a non-IT audience
  • Attention to detail
  • Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Process orientation
  • Organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks and projects
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong time management skills
  • Self-motivation to resolve issues
