Position Overview

Provides application software development services and technical support for defined projects. Facilitates the analysis, development, implementation, and support of business and/or consumer applications, including but not limited to voice and contact center, mobile apps, websites, artificial intelligence, and IoT.


1. Develops, tests, maintains, and enhances business applications and provides specialized technical expertise to multi-faceted projects

2.Works in cross functional teams to assist with gathering and evaluating detailed project requirements to support delivery of effective business applications

3. Acts as subject matter expert on escalated production outages or impairments and on occasion handles level 3 support to ensure systems meet client needs and published service levels.

4. Develops, updates and/or maintains necessary application reporting tools that increase business intelligence

5. Works with third party vendors to evaluate, design and integrate application solutions, including but not limited to voice and contact center, mobile apps, websites, artificial intelligence, and IoT

6. Provide analysis and estimates for new project requests

7. Assist with process reviews and provide suggestions for improvement

8. Maintain technical documentation and project plans for development activities

9. Performs unit testing and documents results 10. Performs application and environment setups/configuration and development

11. Analyze, write, and produce ad-hoc queries and/or reports as required

12. Adheres to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes

13. Mentors less experienced application developers

Education and Experience Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or a related field and 5-7 years of software development or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Experience in programming and development of business and/or consumer applications, including but not limited to voice and contact center, mobile apps, websites, artificial intelligence, and IoT
  • Experience with contact center software including advanced knowledge of Automatic Contact Distribution (ACD) and Private Branch Exchange (PBX)
  • Experience with writing automated tests a plus
  • Experience with DBA (NoSql, mysql, MSSQL, SQLServer, Oracle) a plus
  • Experience with developing mobile optimized websites and apps preferred
  • Consumer Services industry experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Advanced knowledge of In-Contact Call Center Software Studio scripting required
  • Familiarity with Quality Monitoring and Work Force Management Software
  • Knowledge of programming languages; experience with SQL, Java, C sharp preferred
  • Familiarity with user interface development using languages such as, CSS, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, or JSON
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases and development 
  • Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and attention to detail 
  • Written and oral communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts. 
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • If supporting business applications, skillsets may require the following: Lansa AD/VL Frameworks, Lansa Integrator, SQL, Java
