Position Overview

The Ethics & Compliance Manager supports a broad range of activities to enhance the Company’s policies, procedures, training and investigations. Under the direction of the Associate General Counsel, he/she will oversee the case management system to ensure investigations are conducted consistent with the case management policy, and that resolutions are appropriate; review corporate policies to help identify gaps and develop new policy language; analyze trends in ethics and compliance cases to conduct “root cause” analyses to identify areas for improvement; and conduct fact–finding investigations for compliance cases.

Responsibilities

1. Organizes and directs the consistent processing, treatment and disposition of investigations through the appropriate channels, including monitoring the progress of investigations and following up on cases as necessary.

2. Implements and maintains the international ethics program.

3. Conducts fact finding investigations for workplace concerns (non-compliance), compliance allegations, and conflict of interest matters.

4. Prepares and provides metrics, reports, and related analyses to leadership; identifies areas of risk and strategies for improvement.

5. Conducts annual conflict of interest survey and maintains conflict of interest program, including assessment of potential conflicts and recommendations for remedial action.

6. With the support of subject matter experts in the Legal Department, provides Training and Communication regarding substantive compliance areas (e.g., fraud, FCPA, anti-trust).

7. Reviews and edits enterprise policies; identifies policy gaps and recommends/prepares solutions.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in ethics/compliance program management, HR program management, or similar compliance related role preferred.
  • Legal experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and case management database systems.
  • Ability to influence people across an organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill, foreign language skills a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Sound judgment and proven ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail, well-organized and ability to manage time efficiently.
  • High degree of initiative requiring little or no supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize projects, solve problems and meet project timelines.
