Position Overview
A successful Azure Cloud Data Developer specializes in building data solutions and migrating existing pipelines from on premises to cloud environments utilizing Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Data Lake technologies. In this role you will collaborate with other Cloud Developers, Power BI Developers, and Stakeholders to design and develop robust and scalable data solutions on the Azure cloud platform.
At TruGreen a Cloud Developer must be accountable, autonomous, part data analyst, able to communicate, and partner with various stakeholders across the organization. They must become subject matter experts as they will need to fill a BA style role on smaller projects.
Responsibilities
Uses Azure Data Factory (ADF) to create multiple complex pipelines and activities using both Azure and On-Prem data stores for full and incremental data loads into a Cloud Datawarehouse.
Designs and Implements data solutions on the Azure cloud platform, incorporating Medallion Architecture principles for scalability, modularity, and reusability.
Migrates on premise applications/solutions into the cloud (i.e.: SSIS or Stored Procedures into Databricks/ADF)
Demonstrates how traditional IT processes apply to a business environment. Example: speaks to how big data and Star Schemas can replace traditional enterprise data stores; how Azure Data Factory can supplement/replace SSIS.
Collaborate horizontally to design and implement secure, scalable, cost efficient and highly available data solutions.
Creates technical design documentation in adherence to business, source system, target system, and solution architecture requirements.
Exhibits work consistent with the software development lifecycle, including Agile and Kanban.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements, identify data sources, and define data ingestion strategies.

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a technology-focused or Engineering-related field, or an equivalent combination of experience.
5+ years recent experience developing and implementing cloud-based solutions (IaaS, PaaS) in a Microsoft Azure environment.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, including data pipeline design, integration, and orchestration.
Experience with version control systems (i.e.: Git or Azure DevOps)
Experience working on elastic and data intensive applications.
Experience managing Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Data Lake Analytics and an understanding of how to integrate with other Azure Services.
Experience navigating JSON & RESTful APIs using Python.
Experience with Azure Databricks or Apache Spark for data processing and analytics.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience with Data warehousing technologies such as Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, or Dataverse.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.
Experience using SQL, T-SQL stored procedures, T-SQL functions; and/or an Oracle Environment using SQL Plus and PL/SQL Coding Languages.
Familiarity with complex SQL Server scaling concepts (AlwaysOn, Geo-Scaling, Sharding, Large Scale Database Management).
Experience with legacy technologies such as SSIS.
Knowledge of Load and Performance test practices.

Pay Ranges
$79,175.00 - $131,958.00This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
